Built on Jackson’s iconic shapes, the new JS Series JS22 Surfcaster offers incredible value by combining vintage appeal with cutting-edge appointments for the ultimate modern metal machine — all at an entry-level price.
The sleek offset poplar body and bolt-on maple neck provide a rock-solid foundation, while the 12”-16” compound-radius bound amaranth fingerboard allows easy chording and fret-free soloing. 22 jumbo frets and Jackson’s carefully carved neck heel replace the usual neck plate to give unhindered access to the highest registers.
The Surfcaster is loaded with high-output Jackson humbuckers, ready to pump out the thick, saturated distortion tones that built the Jackson legacy. Simplicity rules with a single volume and tone control on this six-string model. The Surfcaster is also equipped with Jackson’s rugged hardtail bridge to keep the tuning stable and setup perfect.
